CHALK has over thirty volunteers and they are essential to the running of the organisation. ¬†Without them CHALK wouldn’t exist.

Ida our Administrative Apprentice has been our journo this week. Sent out with a list of questions and pad and pen to find out more about our amazing volunteers.

For the next two weeks we’ll introduce you to some of volunteers.

What do you do at CHALK?
I paint and upholster furniture, cleaning and occasionally covering shop front
What do you like most about CHALK?
Upholstery- It’s the most challenging aspect
Has volunteering changed you?
I feel more confident and have gained a new skill

I work in the upholstery workshop
Why do you volunteer?
Because I love and enjoy it

I likewhat it stands for, all the support in the community. Offering to help anyone and never judging anyone.
